...Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. - Proverbs 31:8

Veronica Brocato - Founder and President
At the age of 5, Veronica gave her life to the Lord and immediately began to share with all her friends what God had done for her and what He said about going to Heaven. As the years went on, the pull of the world was strong and not living in a Christian home, she began living in a lifestyle far from God. At the age of 17, very tired and worn out from the devil’s lies, Veronica gave her life over to God and all that He had for her. Shortly thereafter, she felt God’s calling on her life but was not sure what to do with it. As a few years passed, the burden of the unsought and unsaved in foreign countries stirred in her heart. She spent three years living overseas in countries such as Nepal, India, the Philippines, China, Burma, Ukraine and Poland, preaching and teaching God’s Word from the hustling, bustling cities to the remotest of villages. She says the first time she traveled overseas she felt like a “fish that had found water”.
Upon returning to the states, she met and married her husband, Jason Brocato, who had just returned from studying Hebrew in Israel. They reside in Wesley Chapel, FL, and attend Victorious Life Church with their three children, Rachel, Julia and Jadon. Still passionate about the call of God on their lives, together they seek to help the hurting, helpless, defenseless and broken through Hope in God’s Word. Having plans to adopt, after the birth of their third child Veronica began researching adoption. Through this research she found staggering statistics on children without families of their own. This weighing on her heart, she began the endeavor which is now, "Voice for the Orphans".

Jennifer Gunter - Marketing Director
In middle school, Jennifer became humbly aware of the pain some children endure at the hands of others. It was during this time she began to recognize her compassion for others and her desire to help the helpless. Children in foster care, having no one to look out for them, had pulled at her heart. While putting herself through college, she often took jobs in child care related fields or in advertising. She has received her Bachelor's degree in Advertising from the School of Mass Communications at the University of South Florida in 2004. After a short time working in the advertising field, Jennifer quickly found out advertising products was not a fulfilling career path for her. She yearned for a career providing both depth and meaning; a career which would bridge her love for helping children with her degree in advertising. Now, having two small children of her own, she is experiencing first hand the profound impact a parent has on their child. Still, her thoughts were being drawn to how neglected children without caregivers must feel. In addition, she began feeling the importance of giving her life and will over to the care of God. God began working miracles in Jennifer's life quite quickly. Through answering an article written by Veronica (Founder and President of VFTO) on Voice for the Orphans in Overflow Magazine, she is now able to use her talents in a field aimed at helping children in the foster care system. Jennifer's creative talents as well as her compassion and desire to know God are valued assets to the Voice for the Orphans team.
